"The Remnant" - Shabbat - Shevat 26, 5769

"The Remnant" - Shabbat - Shevat 26, 5769
ARE YOU THE REMNANT???

Rev. 12:17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the REMNANT of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 14:12 - Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Yeshua.

Revelation 22:14 - Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

DO YOU KNOW JESUS??

John 1 1IN THE beginning was the Word (TORAH), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself..... 10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the WORLD KNEW HIM NOT. 11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

1 john 5 :2 2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

1 john 2:3 And hereby we do KNOW that we KNOW him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I KNOW him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 7Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

MATTHEW-7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work ANOMOS (lawlessness, torahlessness)

luke 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 13:26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you,***** I know you not whence ye are*******; depart from me, all [ye] workers of ANOMOS (LAWLESS, TORAHLESS) 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out.

WHO IS THE FALSE MESSIAH/ANTI CHRIST?

DANIEL 7:25And he shall speak words against the Most High [God] and shall wear out the saints of the Most High and think to change the time [of sacred feasts and holy days] and the law

...and they [angels] shall gather out of his Kingdom all things that offend, and them which do ANOMOS. (lawlessness, torahlessness) (Mt. 13:41)

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because ANOMOS (WITHOUT LAW, WITHOUT TORAH) shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold. (Mt. 24:11-12)

The coming of the ANOMOS (WITHOUT LAW = WITHOUT TORAH) one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the LOVE OF THE TRUTH, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion that they should BELIEVE THE LIE that they all may be condemned who did NOT BELIEVE the TRUTH but had PLEASURE in unrighteousness.” (2 Thess. 2:9-12)

WILL YOU PASS THE TEST???

DEUT. 13 - If your mother, your sister, your brother, your son, a prophet, a dreamer, EVEN IF SOMEONE WITH SIGNS AND WONDERS FOLLOWING THEM, some one who prophesies over you and it comes to pass, ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU TO TURN AWAY FROM THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD or who tries
(V. 5) "to draw you aside from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk." "For the Lord your God is TESTING you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being. 4You shall walk after the Lord your God and [reverently] fear Him, and KEEP His commandments and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and cling to Him."

WHAT IS TRUTH?

(Jesus is the truth, the Torah is truth - Jesus is the Word of G-d, the Word of G-d is the TORAH)

Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your Torah is truth. (Psalm 119:142)

You are near, O YHWH, and all your commandments are truth. (Psalm 119:151)

"Obey the truth" (Gal. 3:1)
"But he that does truth..." (Jn. 3:20)

And I rejoice that I found your children walking in the truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. (2Jn. 1:4)

ARE YOU STUMBLING ON THE ROCK?

1 peter 2 8And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

"BUT!!!!! THE NEW TESTAMENT SAYS WE LIVE BY GRACE"
Many Christians are taught that we live by grace NOW - as if this is a "NEW" thing that Jesus brought to us. Jesus did NOT come to make a "NEW" religion called "CHRISTIANITY" that goes against the Torah (truth= torah = Word = Jesus). Christianity was formed later due to anti-semitism. Jesus IS the TORAH - he did not come to delete himself! He taught nothing new! He is the beginning and the end!

GRACE is NOTHING NEW!!!

CHESED (Hebrew for Grace - "undue favor") appears 251 times in the Tanak
Eleos (Greek for Grace) appears only 50 times in the New Testament.

...you have also found grace in my sight.... ...for you have found grace in my sight... (Ex. 33:12, 17)

...and now I have found grace in your sight... (Judges 6:17)

The people... found grace in the wilderness... (Jer. 31:2)

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his grace (CHESED) toward those who fear him. (Psalm 103:11)

Oh let those who fear YHWH say, "His grace (CHESED) is everlasting. (Psalm 118:4)

By grace (CHESED) and truth iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of YHWH one keeps away from evil. (Proverbs 16:6)

"BUT!!!! IN THE NEW TESTAMENT, WE LIVE BY FAITH!!!"

Do you believe living by faith is really a NEW thing?? Remember, everything taught in the New Testament was confirmation of what was already taught. Jesus, Paul, John, etc.. oftentimes quoted the Talmudic teachings which many Christians do not even know exist.

And he believed in YHWH; and he counted it to him as righteousness. (Gen. 15:6 = Rom. 4:3, 22; Gal. 3:6)

...the just shall live by his faith. (Hab. 2:4
= Rom. 1:17; Gal. 3:11)

"BUT!!!! JESUS SAID, "IT IS FINISHED"

Do you think that means that allllll of God's teachings are finished??? We are supposed to go live by the WORLDLY standards now??? SERIOUSLY???

Remember, the bible is a JEWISH book, written by JEWS, about a JEWISH Messiah. It contains MANY Jewish idioms that are foreign to the Western mindset.

Every year at Passover (feast of the Lord to be kept forever) - the Jews sing a song called "Nerzach" Which translated means, "IT IS FINISHED!" This is the closing song of Passover.

"BUT!!! JESUS SAID HE "FULFILLED" THE LAW!"

This is a Rabbinical term, meaning "correctly interpreted the law"
. All Jews would have understood this meaning. To "destroy the law" is a term meaning incorrectly interpreting it. Its a Jewish Argument.... " YOU DESTROY THE LAW WHEN YOU SAY......!!!" " NO! I FULFILL THE LAW WHEN I SAY.......!!!!"

DID JESUS DO AWAY WITH THE LAW?

First, what did God (who saw the end from the beginning) say??

You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish a thing from it, that you may keep the commandments of YHWH your God which I command you.
(Deut 4:2)

Whatever thing I command you, observe to do it: you shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it. (Deut. 12:32)

What did Jesus say?

"Do NOT think that I have come to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, TILL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS AWAY, one yud or one mark will by no means pass from the Torah till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so,
he will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever does and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven
. (Matt. 5:17-19 see also Lk. 16:17).

As does Paul: Do we then abolish the Torah through trust? Absolutely not! We uphold the Torah! (Rom. 3:31) • "...the Torah is holy and the commandment is holy and just and good." (Rom. 7:12)

Then Yeshua said to those Jews who believed on him, if you continue in MY word (Whose Word???? Remember - the Word of God is the Torah=Jesus is the Word of God), then are you my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth (TRUTH=TORAH), and the truth (TRUTH=TORAH) shall make you free. (John 8:31-32)

"BUT!!! THE LAW WAS GIVEN TO THE JEWS!!"

You have been grafted in to the children of Israel. You are the wild branch grafted into the olive tree. There is ONE body, one spirit, one Lord. If you claim the blood of the JEWISH MESSIAH - YESHUA (Jesus) and that you are part of the Body of Christ - guess what??

That body is a JEW! :)

Even if you don't claim Jesus, but only claim G-d, there is still only one law of G-d. All through the bible the law applies to the stranger in the land and to the children of G-d.

"BUT!!!!!! THE LAW IS GRIEVOUS AND IT IS A BURDEN - NO ONE CAN DO IT, IT IS BONDAGE!!!!"

For this commandment which I command you this day it is not to hard for you, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that you should say: " Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it to us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?" Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say: "Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, and make us hear it, that we may do it?" But the Word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it. (Deut. 30:11-14)

1 john 5: 3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my load is light. (Mat. 11:28-30)

Many think this is saying the law is gone.. but Jesus is quoting Jeremiah:

Thus said YHWH, stand you in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein. (Jer. 6:16) ...they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my Torah, but rejected it. (Jer. 6:19)

The Yoke of G-d:
..they are foolish, for they do not know the way of YHWH, the requirements of their God. So I will go to the leaders and speak to them; surely they know the way of YHWH, the requirements of their God." But with one accord they too had broken off the yoke and torn off the bonds. (Jer. 5:4-5 see also Jer. 2:20)
