BO: Rev. 16:17, "IT IS DONE" Exodus, the Passover, Armageddon

BO Torah Portion: Exodus, Passover, Armageddon

Revelation 16: 17

"Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, "It is done."

Compare this to the Custom of Passover celebrated every year as commanded by the Lord - Nirtzah (all is finished) - A final song is sung and ends with the phrase, Next Year in Jerusalem! This can be seen in Matthew 26:30

29I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father's kingdom." 30When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

This was the song "Nirtzah", the traditional song sung by all the Jews as Passover is closing.

and Mark 14:26

24"This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many," he said to them.

25"I tell you the truth, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God."

26When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Then compare to Jesus, the Lamb of Passover, as He hung on the cross and said "it is finished"

John 19:30 (New International Version)

30When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

and then again in Revelations, we see this happening again:
Revelation 16: 17
"Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, "It is done."
